On the banks of the South Esk River is Entally Estate one of Tasmania’s oldest National Estate properties with with magnificent parklands Australia’s oldest Conservatory, convict relics, chapel and original carriages in the carriage house. It was built around 1819 by Thomas Reibey.
Opposite Entally is Rutherglen Holiday Village which offers accommodation, functions and conferences.
